He has some rather extreme opinions on society and the corps but is still willing to take their money for a job. he isn't a huge fan of violence and prefers not to use his gun but a few recent jobs have seen him have to defend himself with lethal force; a choice he isn't terribly happy with. He comes to the Crystal Palace chasing a ghost, and a rumor but without a euro to his name. How he is going to participate in the auction is a mystery even to himself.

No one wants to succeed quite like someone who knows what's waiting at the bottom of the greasy pole. Tobias' family was corporate back in Norway. They're all in prison, the victims of a reorg. Little Tobias was smuggled out of jail, grew up in the acid fog of East London, and stowed away on a cargo ship to Singapore, determined to claw his way out of the street. And he did. Slowly, violently, with a frightening determination never to be poor again, and with a number of ghosts hiding in his shadow. Ostensibly here to procure precious tech for Kiroshi, "Jorsalfar" is also on a quiet crusade, and might have a job or two that needs doing.

Isis Marlowe is young, her star is rising, and she doesn't appear to be terribly interested in letting anything distract her.
Known for brokering meetings between rival gangs to iron out agreements, Isis seems to have a knack with people- both in putting them at ease- and at reading them. She has also been known to "consult" on investigative jobs, but her professional discretion means she doesn't speak about past consultations.

She's very tight-lipped about her past, preferring to focus on her excellent reputation for reliability and honest dealing- and, of course, for her useful contacts, from gangers, to nomads, to other fixers.

Non-Public Knowledge:

Her parents were natives of Night City, and high level corporate executives in OTEC during the 4th Corporate war. But as that megacorp's fortunes waned they managed to secure no less cushy jobs in Militech instead. Following the nuking of Arasaka HQ in Nightcity, they temporarily relocated to Washington D.C, where Sapphire was born as Sarah Kwan. A few years later, the family were among the first executives to relocate back to a re-building Night City. They lived the life of the corporate 1%; until corporate intrigue and backstabbing happened. Next thing they know, they're taking advantages of old connections, hiding out on the Drift Nations, ever on the run. Until there was nobody left.

Public Knowledge:

A few years ago, Sarah Feng was one of the countless streetlevel punks trying to make a living on those infamous streets as an edgerunner. Live fast, die young, leave a mutilated corpse that has all its cyberware looted within minutes of expiration. That was the plan, until she started following a different path. Renaming herself Sapphire, she started a music career as part of a global art collective called Fl0wnet, bringing together people from the Drift Nations under a single creative banner.

She's since made an amicable break and launched a solo career; playing an aggressive and often anti-corpo blend of metal and dubstep. She's a competent guitar player, but she's particularly talented and praised for her vocal skills. She's also known for her particular style, blending the cutesy Asia Pop style with a foul-mouthed personality and angry music, along with her trademark skin that turns a deep shade of blue whenever she gets excited, like during a solid performance. She also uses a unique guitar; probably one of the few Casio-DG20's still in existence. It's essentially been entirely rebuilt to become a proper guitar with modern synthesizer abilities built in.

While she's not quite at the top of the fame ladder, she's got a rabidly loyal fanbase and her performances have probably been seen and heard by anyone who watches the local Nightcity video feeds.

• Night City Edgerunners - Sapphire has done plenty of jobs on the streets of Nightcity, even after launching her music career. Eddies got to keep flowing, afterall. You might have pulled a job alongside her; she wasn't picky about the details so long as the money was good. You might've been on the other side of her gun-barrel instead. Hey, no hard feelings, that's just how the streets are, choom.
• Drift Nations - Not every nomad drifter does so by car. The remains of the 4th corporate war still litter the oceans, and many of the derelict ships and platforms have since been converted into places where people live and trade. You might've run into her during the part of her life spent there.
• Corpo Elite - It's unlikely you recognize her given how long ago it was and all. But if you have ties to OTEC or Militech, well, histories might have intertwined somehow.
• Rockergirl - Are you a fan? You could be a fan. You could have played a gig with her. You could've just had some asshole at a bar smash a glass over your head while one of her songs was playing over the feed and the song's been as stuck in your head as that piece of glass the ripperdoc is too afraid to pull out of your brainstem.

Twitch is an edgerunner of some notoriety. Ex Voodoo Boy enforcer turned edgerunner and Night City native. He earned his name while being a ganger for being ruthlessly efficient and lacking what people would call a "moral compass." If you ask him he just says he does what he needs to to get the job done.

He's a friendly man but prone to outbursts of random violence. Equally skilled with his ever present pistol and his fists the man is large built very powerfully with Cybernetic enhancements that make him even stronger. For all that size he is also incredibly fast, moving before others can think half the time and often documented dodging gun fire.

- He's here as security for a biotechnica exec, not unheard of for an edgerunner but not exactly everyday thing either.
- he's been an edgerunner for years in Night City and for years before that he ran with the Voodoo boys
- Twitch is a name many have heard and not always with good connotations. Maybe he killed or tortured a friend of yours or ripped someone you know off.
- He might be unstable, arrogant, and a general shit bag but he is known for always completing his job no matter the cost. Unless someone else can pay better.

In the wrong circles, Alrik is known as The Human Devil. Some say it's because he played two fixers against each other, pretending to work for them both, and when he bled them dry he killed them. Some say it's just because he's the worst kind of person, who does 'good' things with disproportionate amounts of violence. Either way, the title has stuck and friend and foe alike get covered in blood even if they aren't losing their bits and pieces.

But if you really need to make a point, and the guy who stole your favorite Braindance capture really needs to be in five places at once, then maybe Alrik will take your money.

The very caricature of the edgerunner on a collision course with their ultimate destiny, Alrik wears black and black on guns, black, blades, black...black. Edgeunner, EdgeLord, whatever. This is life, as ephemeral as the moments it is made of, he doesn't have time to care about little things like bright colors and mercy.

Arcangelo Salvatore Salieri

Non-Public Knowledge: Sal's home was destroyed and his family were all killed when he was a child. He grew up on the streets of Napoli, a place that makes Night City's scummiest back alley look like a kindergarten playground. Guns were easy to come by, as he'd often turn a corner onto the remains of a firefight. His first kill was in self defense when he was seven years old. He survived by laying low near the docks, and stealing into the open containers for food stuffs on nightly raids.

During one such 'raid' he nicked a trumpet case. Thinking it might be cutting edge hardware or something that he could turn over for a quick profit. Imagine his surprise when instead he found something much more valuable. The instrument opened up a new world for him, an escape from the hell of existence. He spent every waking minute playing with it. Busked in the streets once he learned a few songs. Became famous around the area amongst the local crime lords who would make sure he was escorted safely away before the shooting ever started. Eventually he even caught the attention of the previous owner, his mentor.



Public Knowledge: At the age of 14 he was rescued from the streets of Napoli and brought to Milan. There he attended formal training and schooling, and soon rose to prominence as a child prodigy. At 18 he was packed off to a conservatory but his grades were less than stellar. Eventually he quit school and struck out on his own again. At 25 he was playing regular gigs and cut his first album. At 27 his first major contract came through Biotechnica. At 29 he cut from Biotechnica's contract and struck out to reinvent himself. Today he's an independent artist with his own burgeoning label.


He and his combo 'Bad Pop Music' (BPM) were invited to play a few gigs on the station for the auction. The program mentions a few 'premiers' and features, but says nothing about his 'older' hits. Which is strange since Biotechnica is also attending.

- If you're a musician you've heard of him. You might hate him, but you've either heard him, or of him. He's viewed as a pro-corpo shill.

- If you listen to Jazz you've heard his stuff. If you don't listen to Jazz but watch TV: his is that song that you can't get out of your head all day long (Biotechnica & Biotechnica's subsidiaries' Corporate Jingles). Everyone else: His music was probably in the background of a braindance you don't want to admit to watching.

- If you've met him, you probably liked him. Easy come, easy go, kind of a guy. Bit of a dreamer, but really down to earth once you get to know him. If you've worked with him you probably wanna punch him | or punched him - You know he doesn't hold it against you.

- VIPs might have saw him perform in a private club. But he's not the kind of guy you'd see in concert.

Valentina is a bodyguard and combat medic. She is also notably tall, very polite and possessed of eye-catching looks. These combine to steal the gaze of those she passes. Fortunately for her business, this is often all the in she needs to introduce herself and offer a business card. So far that has helped ensure she meets new potential clients and expands her connections. It's a necessity for someone relatively new to Night City. How this half Japanese, half German woman ended up in the 'City of Dreams', let alone on the Crystal Palace, is a bit of a mystery to most. In fact, records on her in NUSA only start from a few years back. Like many solos, Valentina doesn't easily speak about her past. What is known is that she is more than just a pretty face. For starters, she carries weapons she knows how to use. Moving on, her ability as a paramedic is the cream of the crop. When she takes out her medpack or cryotube, it's with the confidence to use them properly to save lives. More interestingly, it's said not to underestimate her if she ever appears unarmed. Sadly for her, all this skill has amounted to is a life where she barely covers her outgoings.

That had to change.

After saving a modest nest egg and earning some favours, Valentina sought some high profile job opportunities that would lead to the big time. Big pay, a better lifestyle for herself and other enhancements. A shot at something great. That culminated into an invite to the Crystal Palace for a little known secret auction.

Now that she's here she intends to make friends and only make enemies of people she's paid to deal with. If possible, handsomely. Wouldn't that be nice?

- Veil. Vale. Tal. Various aliases have been used by an operative who was part of a team that either worked for, or trained with (depending on the source), the Lazarus Group. A little digging might reveal some connections with the now defunct IEC. Security work, espionage and even wet work. That team had done it all. It's been silent for some years now. Since just before Valentina arrived in Night City in fact. Maybe you're curious about this or maybe you have a grudge?
- Valentina is an especially observant woman with a good education and deductive skills. Is there a mystery afoot or something you would like investigated? You could do much worse.
- Are you suffering withdrawal? Arm broken? Maybe you need some immediate healing? Valentina is a qualified paramedic who can manufacture various useful pharmaceuticals. Come and say hi.
- What about leisure and relaxation? Valentina enjoys gossip, cocktails and generally unwinding with company. She is serious when on a job, but outside of that she can be remarkably cordial and candid. It rarely hurts to make friends.

[Aswang]

Public Knowledge:

A Fixer from the means streets of Manila, Aswang has a reputation for a man who can get you what you need, and can run a mean Night Market. Be it a good Solo, the right B-Girl, or maybe even a job or two. He's built himself quite a name over the decade as a reliable and trusted sort. It of course would make sense that such a sort would be invited here to maintain some corporate interest, though more details than that would have to cost you. He speaks with a slight Russian accent.

Still, his Streetname is that of a shapeshifting, blood-sucking monster; that could be all that you really need to know about him.

• Need Something? - Just because we're on a space station doesn't mean his influence and resources are hindered. Just...might take a bit longer to get it.
• Deal Broker - He's helped broker many a deal with New Philippine's diverse citizenry. He can speak more words in 6 different languages than you've forgotten. Good man to have along in case you need to negotiate some pay, if you can cover the fee or give him a good cut
• Corpo Sympathies - His list of clients are among the more famous and powerful in New Philippines, but he also tends to take more Corpo contracts as well. He's got a strong mind for business, and a even stronger stomach to deal with the Execs who deal in it. Though, your mileage may vary with it. Seems to get along well with SovOil and the FACS, though.

The Auction has certainly brought a colorful cast of characters to the Palace. A covey of corpos, a rota of rockerboys....and one man with tools in his hand, hindi on his tongue and wrapped in fashion best described as....bohemian. He's here to serve as proxy for....some interest not presently here, though it's pretty clear he'd rather be poking around in the space stations guts which is definitely not something allowed.

[Pyg]

Natalie "Pyg" Hirata

Pyg is an artist and her canvas is flesh. Supposedly skilled enough at her job to cut a person open, toss a bag or two of recycled kibble in, and close the patient back up and they'd never catch an infection.

When her muse is in the mood and the client's eddies are sufficient, Pyg even makes her own versions of the hottest chrome on the market, tuning it beyond the bleeding edge, and giving those who can afford it just that bit more of an edge.

- Seriously, probably the best doctor at this orbital altitude.
- If you're suddenly missing parts or find yourself having increased in weight from all the lead that got stuck in you, bring cash and call.
